On 3rd August 2021, Oppo F11 hit the home run by becoming the first Oppo device to release the August 2021 Android Security Patch update for their smartphone. The device which received the latest update is the Oppo F11.
This was a masterstroke by the official Oppo team as they released the Oppo F11 August 2021 Android Security Patch Update even before the Pixel devices.
The Oppo F11 was released in March 2019 with an Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box.
Along with the latest August 2021 Android Security Patch, the update also fixes some known issues and improves the system performance in some cases.

The Oppo F11 has received two major OS updates with Android 10 and 11. Therefore, it is NOT eligible for the upcoming Android 12 update.
However, the Oppo F11 will continue to receive Security updates for this year at least.
Hence, the Android 11 was the last major OS update on this device.
The Oppo F11 August 2021 Android Security Patch Update is currently rolling out in Asia in batches reportedly. It is soon expected to reach all the users soon.
Once it’s available on your device, you can head over to Settings >> About Phone >> Software Update section to update your Oppo F11 with the August 2021 Security Patch Update.
