LG has now released the LG G8X ThinQ Android 11 Update with the device's users receiving the second major update globally. The update is currently live in Netherlands, Brazil, and some European countries too reportedly.

As per a Reddit user, a July 2021 Android Security Patch has also been released along with the major update which upgrades the device's security with it.
The LG G8X ThinQ was released in September 2019 with an Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box.

The LG G8X ThinQ has now received two major OS updates with Android 10 and 11.
As per LG, even after shutting down mobile business, it will provide three years of major OS updates to select LG devices.
So, this device may be eligible for the upcoming Android 12 update, but we are not sure as LG generally maintains a 2-year update policy.
