Xiaomi has officially released the latest MIUI update for one of its flagship phones with the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra MIUI 12.5 update released this week.
Xiaomi released the Mi 11 Ultra in March 2021 officially with an Android 11 out-of-the-box. Now, it has received the latest MIUI skin with MIUI 12.5 ahead of the upcoming MIUI 13.
The news was officially given by the Global VP and MD of Xiaomi India, Mr Manu Kumar Jain tweeted about the latest Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra MIUI 12.5 Update.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra MIUI 12.5 update officially brings new and exciting features to the device along with some fixes for the status bar and notification shade.
Xiaomi also released the MIUI 12.5 update last week for another Mi 11 series phone with the Xiaomi Mi 11X MIUI 12.5 Update.
System New: Response to gestures is now instant. New: With 20 times more rendering power, there are now few limits to what you can see on your screen. New: With custom device model adjustments, any phone becomes faster after the upgrade. Optimization: MIUI became lighter, faster, and more durable. Notes New: Compose mind maps with complex structures. New: New tools for doodling and sketching. New: Press and hold a sketch to adjust the strokes automatically. New: A gesture shortcut now allows you to create notes, tasks, and excerpts anywhere. New: Excerpts save text, URLs, and images to Notes in a few simple taps. New: Dynamic layouts bring the typography in Notes to a new level. All-new Notes. Xiaomi Cloud New: Location info can be now reported automatically before the device is powered off Status bar, Notification shade Fix: Lock screen notification animations froze after the device was unlocked using face data Fix: Notifications flashed in some cases Fix: Floating notifications weren't displayed correctly in landscape mode Fix: Notification badges weren't updated for incoming notifications on a locked device.
So far most users have experienced it, as a super phone and the best possible experience for Mi devices yet.
This Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra MIUI 12.5 update with MIUI 12.5.2.0 is a Software update/Security update for this device and not a major/stable OS update as it has an Android 11 OS already.
Therefore, Android 12 will be the first major OS update on this device and it is also Eligible to be on the Android 13 update list as well.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra MIUI 12.5 update with MIUI 12.5.2.0 is currently rolling out in phases. But, it is expected to be rolled out to all the users soon.
Once the update is available on your device, you will receive a notification regarding the software update. Then, you can head over to Settings >> About Phone >> Software Update section to update your Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra with MIUI 12.5.2.0 (MIUI 12.5).
