Lenovo-owned Motorola is now rolling out the Android 11 update in Moto G 5G smartphone. It is a mid-range smartphone released in December 2020 by Motorola with android 10 out-of-the-box.
Hence, Android 11 is going to be the first major Android update for the device.
So far the update has been reported as stable, with few users reporting battery drain issues, for the most part, the update doesn't have any bugs or issues.

The Motorola Moto G 5G was released with an android 10 in December 2020. Therefore, Android 11 will be its first major OS update.
Although It should be eligible for Android 12, But recently Motorola is kind of limited to One major OS update with random security patches to its devices. From our point of view, it should get Android 12 but as soon as we get confirmation we will update it.
You will automatically receive an automatic notification in your Moto G 5G devices once it is rolled out in your region.
If you haven’t received the OTA notification on your phone, you can manually check for the update by heading towards Settings >> System >> System update.
