Motorola started seeding the Motorola Moto G9 Android 11 Update in India, Brazil from 9th July 2021 reportedly. There were other Moto G9 series devices too which received the major Android 11 update as reported earlier via a Tweet.
Some channels also mentioned that the update being rolled out to Moto G9 Power & Moto G9 Play, unfortunately, we couldn't find any screenshots from those users and yet to see whether they got the android 11 update or not, we will update soon.
The Motorola G9 users have started posting the screenshots of the Motorola Moto G9 Android 11 Update online which display the authenticity of the update.
The official update changelog is not available as of yet. So, the specific major and minor details of the latest Android 11 update are still not totally known for this device.
Note: Few users have reportedly mentioned that their devices are not updating properly or having few issues after updating it, like battery drain issues etc.

The Motorola G9 was released with an Android 10 out-of-the-box in August 2020. This Moto G9 Android 11 Update is its first major OS update.
Hence, it is in line with the upcoming Android 12 update and it will be its second/last major OS update.

The Motorola G9 Android 11 Update is being rolled out in India, Brazil reportedly in phases. But, the rollout is expected to expand to other users soon. Once it’s available on your device, you will receive a notification regarding the software update.
Then, you can head over to Settings >> About Phone >> Software Update section to update to Android 11.
As the update is 1.17 GB in size, make sure you have enough space and internet data limit for the latest update.
