Nokia 7.2 gets the latest security patch with December 2021 Security Patch, after receiving the much-awaited Android 11 update on November 2021, this is purely just a security patch & probably the last one for this year.
Nokia 7.2 was released on September 23, 2019, with android 9 out-of-the-box.
Previously the much-awaited Android 11 upgrade was rolled out to all Nokia 7.2 devices, that was probably the last major Android upgrade the device was expected to receive as it was launched with Android 9 Pie, right it will only receive security patch updates until September 2022.

Nokia generally supports 2 years of OS updates and 3 Years of Security updates for Android One-supported devices.
Note: Android 11 update, will be the last major OTA update this device will be getting, but it will continue to receive security updates for a while
Once the OTA update is available on your device
head to Settings>>About Phone>>Software Update to update your device.
Note: Users are advised to update their Nokia smartphone while it is connected to a Strong Wi-Fi connection and is put to charge.
