Realme 8s 5G has started receiving the January 2022 Security Patch. It has begun a phased rollout in the month of February 2022, with system optimization, some important bug fixes, a brand new security patch that operates on Android 11 Realme UI 2.0 with build number RMX3381_11.A.09.
Highlights: Third security patch update for the device.
Realme 8s was released on September 9th , 2021 with Android 11 out-of-the-box.
Previously the device had received the December 2021 Security Patch, carrying RMX3381_11.A.07 build, the device was recently launched in the month of September 2021 with Android 11. And as a new device, it should get the Android 12 update soon enough, but we are not sure of the arrival OTA upgrade as Realme is tied to bringing early access to its more popular offerings.

The Realme 8s was released with Android 11 out of the box on 9th September 2021.

Hence, eligible for the upcoming Android 12 update and it will be the second update and it’s highly predicted that Android 13 to be the last update. However, it is still unconfirmed.
The Realme 8s with the January 2022 Security Patch is just being rolled out.
Once the update is available on your device, you can head over to Settings >> About Phone >> Software Update section to update your Realme device with the latest update
