Realme has begun the phased rollout of the May 2022 security patch via OTA for the Realme C12 model. The latest security patch comes with the build number RMX2189_11_C.12. The May 2022 security patch brought some improvements in security and system this time.
Realme C12 was released in August 2020 with Android 10 out-of-the-box.
The latest update integrates the April and May 2022 Android security patches to increase the security of the device. There haven't been any major changes in the System area. System performance has also been enhanced in some scenarios to improve the user experience.
Note that this is a staged rollout by Realme to ensure there are no critical bugs. It will be available to a few users and during the broader rollout, it will reach the rest of the users. If no critical bugs are found, the full rollout will be completed within a few days.

Realme C12 was released with Android 10 out of the box and till now, it has received one major OS update which was Android 11 Realme UI 2.0, released in July 2021.
With the recent official statements by Realme, Realme C12 is reportedly getting the Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 update somewhere around October 2022. But we should wait for the official launch date from the company.

The Realme C12 software update with May 2022 security patch is rolling out in phases reportedly. And, it is expected to be rolled out to all the users soon.
Once the update is available on your device, you can head over to Settings >> About Phone >> Software Update section to update your Realme device with the latest update.
This is, once again, a staggered rollout that will soon be available to all customers. Please wait for the update to arrive on your device.
